I can't tell you how happy this makes me. So happy that I'll actually be forced to start playing GT6 again.

GM has just announced their Corvette Vision Gran Turismo project with a mysterious screenshot !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! the Corvette Facebook page. The image is definitely a teaser, and will no doubt spark some debate as to exactly what part of the car is being shown (click the picture above for a larger view).

The Facebook post promises more details on the project will be revealed in "a few days", so stay tuned for more announcements…

Any guesses on how ridiculous it'll be? Picture looks like the rear of a car. Are those tail fins? I feel like it's a given that it'll be a rear-mid-engine super car. That looks like some sort of engine cover beyond the fin.

What are the odds that they slyly sneak in some influences from what's ultimately going to be the infamous Zora edition? I'm guessing none, but I also can't wait for the overreaction from the automotive media on what the VGT car might reveal about a future Corvette. I think a lot of people are still waiting for the Toyota FT-1 in the game to turn into the new Supra.

Honestly, i think GT6 sucks. I used to think GT5 was cool until i tried Forza 4.
Then i tried GT6 and i was basically using GT5 with new tracks and the same old cars from GT4.

I'm gutted with GT6 to be honest. When I still lived with my parents I borrowed my brothers 360 and played Forza 4, GT6 feels like a huge downgrade from that. It just feels like a PS2 HD remaster, which I suppose it is. Online stability is terrible, physics arent as good as some say they are, career is repetitive and has strange difficulty levels race to race.

I actually have a lot of the same complaints as both of you. That's kind of why I don't play so much anymore. The patches and VGT cars bring me back occasionally, but it never lasts long.

I can have fun with it now and again but more than a couple hours a week and I tire of it, hopefully the ps4 gets a proper racing sim soon so I can get my fix. I dont have a lot of hope for gt7 considering itll still be using the gt4 standard cars on ps4 in 2015 (!).

Yeah I did a lot of grinding to get the 250 GTO and P4 (20 mil apiece) and got really burned out on it.

I keep thinking about getting Forza 4 but the idea of having to pay again for more cars really bothers me.

For now I'm just playing the heck out of F1 2013.

I should probably point out I didn't have much of a frame of reference when I bought GT6. My last true racing game (meaning not Grand Theft Auto) was probably a NASCAR game around 2004 or 05 and before that was the original Project Gotham Racing.

I ended up using the money exploit so I could keep up online, because I got bored of grinding for cash pretty quickly. If it wasnt for having to pay to play online id probably have picked up an old 360 to play it, the dlc cars dont bother me too much since theres plenty already in the game.

I dont really have a good racing game at the moment, the crew is apparently great to look at but the driving sucks, i have nfs rivals and the handling is awful on that too, driveclub fell to pieces at launch so im not buying it. I liked f1 2012 career and played it for quite a while, but the online was terrible so i stopped playing it a few months ago.

Agreed. Gran Turismo is terrible. It was great when it was the only driving game available that was worth a darn. Cars never felt right at the limit.

People said all this changed and it's amazing, well I tried the new gt6 with a wheel at a friends for a good 2 hours and mainly spent time in a car i own that is bone stock. The game felt terrible and nothing like real life. Not to go on a rant but the game is so inferior to forza from the car models (especially cars around you), multiplayer, physics, sound, rumble strip feel and feel of bumps.

Anyway Forza sucks in my opinion as well. Why? Because they made Horizon 2 instead of pouring resources into the stripped Forza 5, Horizon 2 has the 250 Lusso, Alfa 4c, F Type, Huracan etc.. and the racing game gets trucks and 40 fords and mini vans.

Anyways I ordered my Fanatec cs v2, plan to build a new machine for Assetto Corsa, PCars

Trust me, Forza 4 is so much worth it, im even thinking of getting a good racing wheel with 3 pedals and a shifter. But if you cant rent it somewhere to try it first, it would be better.
F1 2013 Is amazing, I love it, this another game i would use the racing wheel with.
I bought the classic DLC. I really liked Estoril and Imola.
Also the 90's pack of cars are more fun and easier to drive than those of the 80's. Those 80's jiggle a lot on bumpy roads and i dont like that too much.

Online on F1 sucks, its either full of experts that somehow fly around the tracks, almost to the point i doubt if they got some secret cheats.
And the others, who are idiots and crash into you on purpose to get you off the track.

It was between F1 and Forza and F1 won out. I couldn't find a used copy of 2013 anywhere so I caved and paid for the digital copy. Gonna have to wait a few months before I can do Forza. I'm surprised used prices on Forza are still in the 40s.

As far as F1, I've been doing career. It's really nice to be challenged by a single player campaign for a change. I do wish the AI was a bit smarter (I'm just off your front right. I know you see me. Don't f'ing turn into me.) but I enjoy it overall. I can tell I'm getting better even though I'm not really seeing results with the slower teams you start career with.

I feel ya. A lot of it comes down to preference and what the gamer is willing to put up with. Some people like NFS, Horizon, etc. Some people are better off with Asetto Corsa or iRacing. The big names in race sim (Forza and GT) fall in between the two spectrums, IMO. I'm interested to see where Project CARS falls.

Thats true, its a challenge, i had F1 2012 and have the 2013, and in the same difficulty level, the 2013 is tougher. As for the results as you say, well as long as you're ahead of your team mate, thats how you can look on your progress.

I cleared out most of my entire 360's library for the Xbone. But I saved GTA V, Forza 4, Driver: SF, and a select few others to keep playing on my 360.

In terms of physics, both games aren't quite right (the smart fortwo in Forza 4 isn't anything like the real deal, but is a good interpretation of it), but Forza comes the closest to being believable.

GT6's Premium cars look better than Forza 5's cars, but then you have to remember that more than 80% of GT6's cars are Standard cars. The Standard cars look ported over from the PSP or PS2 and upgraded a little to look HD. Seeing the Standards race with the Premiums makes for a very bad looking experience. And let's not even talk about the engine and tyre sounds in GT games...

I'd rather take consistent good graphics over graphics that are only partially amazing.

But I also dislike Forza too. Since the first Forza Horizon, they've been skimping out on the cars (effectively selling unfinished games) so they mine their fans for more money so they can "finish" their games. Forza 5 has an embarrassingly tiny car list. Yes, they're so beautiful, but that's no excuse to have so few.

So you end up having to choose between the lesser of two evils or join the PC Master Race...

Also, I just picked up PGR2 and PGR4 off eBay for like $13 total. The soundtrack (both music and engines being pumped through a good surround sound) and the weather elements make PGR4 amazingly enjoyable.

Ok. I see the rules and I understand. Won't happen again. My one comment is that I'm hardly the first person to reshare something that got posted at an odd hour. Shoot, I've seen two different people post identical content hours apart.

It wasn't an attempt to get more views for personal gain, I just thought people who might not have seen it in the morning would be interested.
